✨ Date & Walnut Cake ✨ with love

Your search for the best eggless Date Cake ends here. You need to give this one a try because it has no Maida, no added sugar and is made with whole wheat flour & tastes absolutely divine🥰

25 Dates (pitted) (197g)
(1 + 1/2 cups) Hot Milk (375g)
1/2 cup Vegetable Oil (95g)
1 cup Whole wheat Flour (120g)
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 cup Walnuts (chopped) 50gm

Method:
* Soak the pitted dates in Hot milk for 1 hour so that they become super soft.
* Then in a bowl, add flour, baking powder and baking soda. Whisk well.
* Then once the dates become soft, blend them into a smooth paste and transfer to a bowl. Add in vegetable oil and mix well.
* Add in your dry ingredients and whisk.
* Transfer the batter to a 6’inch lined tin, top it up with walnuts and bake at 180 degrees for about 50 mins or until a skewer inserted in comes out clean!
